The Mezheninovskaya Ptitsefabrika LLC had completed the construction of a complex for production of organic fertilizers from livestock by-products (chicken manure) in the spring of 2024 The project is unique in use of the latest biotechnologies and modern equipment. The production is based on biological and thermal processing of chicken manure using a special set of thermophylic nitrogen-fixing bacteria, which allows the fertilizer to retain nitrogen, which is the most important nutrient for plant growth. Collaboration of science, industry, and business allows the Mezheninovskaya Ptitsefabrika LLC to address a number of current production and environmental challenges:
